Powder Motion Labs is dedicated to the design and manufacture of precision powder feeders. Our patented* core technology leverages electrostatic forces to manipulate powder particles in order to provide smooth and consistent powder flow. Our powder feeders feature near-instant turn-on and turn-off times, and excellent powder feed rate repeatability, all in a device a fraction of the size of conventional powder feeders.

The X2 system consists of two components: the controller and the powder feeder cores. The controller is designed to mount conveniently in a standard 19" rack or on a tabletop, while the powder feeder cores can be positioned near or directly at the customer's process.
At a fraction of the size of typical powder feeders, the X2 System was designed with ease of integration in mind. Cores are roughly the size of a softball, and hoppers are available in a variety of sizes, making seamless integration into existing systems possible.
The standard controller is capable of controlling two cores, and occupies only 4U of rack space. The controller features an easy-to-use touch-screen interface, as well as an external serial control interface. In addition, the X2 cores have built-in optical powder flow sensing, which can be viewed as a graph on the controller display.
